If your enquiry is complicated it is better to write or email first, rather than telephoning. When emailing please include your name and postal address. In the Search Room you can consult the topic guides, catalogues and indexes, and decide what you want to see. You then complete a document request slip and hand it to the officer in charge, who will get out the document for you.

The staff give free advice on original and printed sources held at North East Lincolnshire Archives. They are happy to advise you on your enquiry, and to explain any difficulties, but they cannot undertake detailed research on your behalf.
